I have really been pondering the 2012 presidential race.
It still looks like Barack Obama will be the democrat candidate. This is understandable. Even though he has no history of outstanding achievement and no record of success as president, he is still the very best and brightest that the democrat party has to offer. No other democrat politician, local, state, or national is better qualified or better suited to be president than Barack Obama. Nowhere across this great land can the democrat party find someone better to run for president than Barack Obama.
And they say the republican field is weak.
Nevertheless, I am not sure that any of the republicans suit my fancy. I suspect any one of them would simply become another “go along to get along” president and work to compromise with the democrat socialist/communist/fascist boneheads.
Besides, I think I want a candidate that can appeal to the vast middle ground of the american electorate. Someone with good looks, good hair, multi cultural background, eager to please, and quick to say and do what the people want to hear and see.
I have decided to throw all my support behind a newcomer to the scene.
I have decided to support Garfield Jones. Here is why.
1. Like all the other candidates, Garfield Jones is very intelligent. However, he is more of the quiet type and an excellent listener. In fact, he rarely says anything and only speaks when alarmed. I like this. Someone who is attentive to others and not self absorbed.
2. Garfield Jones is multi-cultural. He is half black and half white.
3. Garfield Jones is from a large family and knows what it is like to share and and share alike. He is a firm believer in equal distribution but also believes that you should take what you can get when the opportunity presents itself. Sort of a “new age, redistributive capitalist”. Flexibility is one of Garfield’s major traits.
4. Garfield Jones is well educated and went to the best schools in the small. rural community in which he grew up. He was born and raised in the U.S. and can prove it without difficulty.
5. Garfield Jones has first hand experience in making jobs for americans. In fact, he thinks everyone should work hard, starting with keeping a clean yard and carrying over to their employment.
6. Garfield Jones is honest. In fact, except for small things he is incapable of lying. This is a result of his flawless acceptance of small town values and impeccable training since he was young.
7. Garfield Jones is frugile. For example, his personal budget expenditures are minimal and he can be trusted to be a good caretaker of our country’s finances. It is safe to say when Garfield Jones is President we will spend far less money.
8. Garfield Jones has compassion for the less fortunate. He also believes that everyone is entitled to certain minimum standards. For example, when Garfield Jones is President, everyone will have steak dinner at least once a week and bar-b-qued chicken at least twice a week.
9. Garfield Jones is practical. For example, he believes that proper exercise is important for personal health and wellness. He will institute a program of daily walking for all Americans.
10. Finally, Garfield Jones is tolerant. In fact he has often been seen cross-dressing without shame or embarrassment. He is not afaid to be who he is and is tolerant of others as well. Garfield Jones is unthreatened by such subjects as gay marriage.
I think it is time Americans wake up from their political slumber and put their support behind Garfield Jones. He has what it takes to lead this country forward on a path through the woods and into the clear meadows of future prosperity. We need the best and the brightest, not just more of the same old tired, worn out political hacks.
